I created The In Between while navigating a career transition of my own.
After nearly four decades in software engineering and leadership, I know capable people can suddenly find themselves without the structure, community, and momentum that work once provided.

To be straight with you about what this is: I am not a recruiter, a career coach, or a hiring expert, and this is not a business. I am a volunteer who started something because I needed it. The courses are what I have read, tested, and found worth writing down, not received wisdom from anyone official. Take what is useful, argue with the rest, and if something in here is wrong, say so inside and it gets fixed.

Together they run to 108 lessons and 30 downloadable guides, checklists, and worksheets, and about four and a half hours of reading in total.
